Meet & Greet

Miss Fanci was quite popular at Saturday's meet & greet! She gave everyone kisses and loved all the attention. She had an application submitted that day, however it was denied.....so if any of you (couple who live near the airport?) are still interested, she is still available and waiting for her forever home.

Pictures of Fanci Pants

Fanci's jacket will go along with her when she goes to her forever home since it fits her well. She played all day with a dog friend yesterday during the packer game. She likes cats and gets along with them fine too. Again, she loves kids and likes kissing our 2 year old granddaughter. She is sleeping on the bed at night now and is very quiet. She doesn't like going out in the cold to go potty unless she has a dog buddy to go with her because it's more fun with a friend. I work all day and she is very good about going on the piddle pads while I'm gone. She isn't a chewer unless it's a rawhide or dog bone, but she does like to relocate things from the bedside table!? I keep finding my emery board and sometimes my cell phone in different places in the house. She also likes to drag her doggy blankets around.  Fanci has a sensitivity gift and is wonderful at giving sympathy. Something made me cry the other day and Fanci laid her head on my shoulder......very sweet. With training and some maturity she would probably be a good therapy dog.

Fanci is such a sweet, happy, expressive girl, and so very smart and sensitive. She could be a Hollywood movie dog and reminds me of "Wishbone".
Her first day of snow was so much fun.....but this cold is for the polar bears she thinks so she prefers going potty on the piddle pad. She sleeps well all night and appreciates snuggle time before bed And in the morning.
Fanci loves other dogs and will beeline it to a new playmate, so a fenced yard or being taken out on a leash is important. Case in point..... At a family members house without a fenced yard I let her out to go potty and turned around to get my coat, when I turned around she was gone. As it turned out she ran to the back neighbors yard, squeezed through the picket fence and was running around with a new husky friend! Yesterday she ran over to a neighbors to play with their dog and sledding kids! That's why living with another dog her size or bigger who likes to play is important for this little girl!

Fanci's Christmas

Fanci had a wonderful Christmas!  Her highlight was running around, wrestling and playing tug of war with a bigger equally as active dog. Secondly was kissing and snuggling our two year old granddaughter.....she loves kids, although she loves all people in general. Fanci is such a smart well adjusted dog with no "issues" or hang ups. She is perfect in the car.....sits in the console between the front seats and watches out the front window. She is very independent at night now and typically prefers going in her crate in the bedroom on her own, or curls up in a dog bed on the floor next to the bed. If there is room she may sleep by my feet on the bed....where she is right now. I keep dry dog food out all the time and Fanci is not a food hog, she just eats when she is hungry. She goes to the door when she wants to go out and jumps on the door with her from paws when she wants to come in. However she is not 100% potty trained yet. She loves going for a walk and does well on a leash. I would say that Fanci is around a year old....still very much a puppy who loves to play and run around....a super happy girl!

The perfect family for Fanci would be one with kids and another active dog to play with. A fenced yard would be perfect.

Videos of Fanci......first 3 days

So, little Miss Fanci is an unbelievably sweet, smart and trainable dog. She has learned how to go up and down the stairs, rides perfectly in the car, loves to run with my pack, goes potty outside very well and  scratches at the door to come in, and is such a happy and playful girl! Today she took a nap on the bed with me and Chester and tonight when I said it's time to go to bed and pointed at the crate, she jumped up on the bed and settled in!

She is a great companion and would make a wonderful addition to an active family....respectful kids would be fine.

Well, getting spayed didn't keep Fanci down for long! She is a very playful pup and is giving my Chester a work out! She likes to play tug of war and wrestle....she would make a good buddy for another active dog, even a bigger dog.....but would probably annoy an older dog. She can entertain herself with bones and toys too. Fanci is eager to please and responds well to praise. Now I'll try to figure out how to post some pictures and video.
